I sold my BMW M5 because I like it’s predecessor more. No not the E28 M5 (which is also nice) but the E12 M535i, the first Motorsport built sedan by BMW. There is one for sale in the north of Holland which I’ve seen recently. Originally from Italy but with a corrosion on all bare metal engine parts. It’s been standing in a damped shed for many years I suppose. This car may be structurally ok, but every single bit was worn or broken. Problem is there aren’t as many of these cars built (about 1500 in only one year) and you therefore you should buy whatever car which is complete and original. I made the seller an offer which he apparently could refuse..
Heavily rusted engine components.
Original but worn Recaro Interior.
